In 1987, Bruce Springsteen played his first ever show behind the Iron Curtain when he appeared in East Berlin in front of 180,000 people. The show was broadcast on East German TV.


Tonight Los Angeles artist Jesse Grossi.

We talk about his music, listen to the two last releases and find out more about this amazing artist. His music  is a charming mixture of alt-rock, reggae-rock, and Ska completed with harmonious vocals and lyrics.

My name is Jesse Grossi and I’m a solo musician and artist.

What are your main influences?

Sublime, Rancid, 311, Dirty Heads, Lily Allen, Green Day, Nirvana, Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, Johnny Cash and Johnny Thunders.

Have you played any notable gigs, festivals or other events? Likewise radio or TV appearances?

Whiskey-a-Go-Go in Hollywood, California multiple times, the Rainbow Room Hollywood, Canyon Club Agora Hills, Fiesta del Sol Argentina SF, El double media hora Television program reconquista SF, Canal Animate Rio Cordoba Radio video broadcast Cordoba AR.

Are there any other interesting or amusing happenings – no matter how small – that the band have been involved with that would be of interest to those who like your music?

I just enjoyed the process of making the song, form the frustrating to the pleasant times!

Do you have any favourable quotes from previous reviews of the band that you’d be happy to share?

Where was the single/EP/album recorded and who was involved in its production?

In home studio, vocals I recorded in Ferias Studios, Andres Ferias also mixed and mastered the track.

She is a founding member of the Canadian Freelance Guild/CWA, a former radio show host, and co-founder/editor of a local digital news platform. Shay is a publicist and curator for a UK indie platform. She covers artists of all genres, from around the globe. She provides popular music content for an NYC content firm. Additionally, she writes for music, literary, and foodie blogs. Shay’s blog, thebuzzr, promotes independent artists. Feedspot recognized the blog in its 2020 Top 20 Music Marketing blogs. When not writing, through The Buzz Roll Media™ and What's Our Buzz she promotes podcasts, independent artists, bands and venues. For most of her story, she was a big city lady. In contrast, she now writes, podcasts & creates from her home studio situated in rural Ontario.
